Monday.
Jhe application for a license by Henry Gf. Hop, of the Commercial Hotel at the Spit, which was adjourned in order to afford lime for an inquiry into certain charges made against him by Inspector Atchefcon, of Wellington, was granted today. The Education Board have brought for £650 the lessees' interest in the education reserve, upon which-it is intended to erect a large school for Napier. The sit? is centrally situated, at the roruer of Give Square and Milton Road.
