A Fishing Yacht Missing.
TWO MEN SUPPOSED TO BE DROWNED.
Some uneasiness has been caused to those concerned, for the last few days, by the protracted absence from the harbour of the Sea Belle (formerly the Algenora) a small fishing yacht, owned by a man . N named George Blouse. This uneasiness was considerably increased to-day, when it became known that s firewood cutter,
in passing between North Taupo and Taylor's Island, yesterday morning, picked up the dingey belonging "to the Sea Belle floating bottom upwards. The dingey was taken on board, and brought on to Auckland this morning. The Sea Belle left the harbour yesterd«y •week, the 20th inst, bound to Waihcke, on a fishing cruise. She had on board a single man, aged 24, named Daniel Drumtnond, and a youth of 15 named George Marsh. As is well known, the weather during the last week has been very rough, and it is therefore very likely that the yacht has been capsized in a squall, and Marsh and Drummond drowned.—Auckland Star (Friday.)
