UNDER the distinguished patronage of His Majesty the King of Italy, at Borne, according to communication received from the Consul-General for Italy, at Melbourne, upon instructions from the Minister for Foreign Affairs, dated 14th March, 1878. Dr'Cruikshank, Health Officer for the City of Sandhurst, the discoverer of the medical properties of tee Extract of the Eucalyptus Glbbulus, has pronounced the Extract to be the most reliable remedy for all external inflammation of whatever kind, inflammation of the ohest, and lungs, all throat affections (bronchitis, diphtheria), all pains of rheumatic nature, neuralgia, &c, all swellings, bruises, sprains, wounds of all kinds, and of most serious nature, all disorders of the bowels, diarrhoea, &c. . ' The Extract is proved as the surest cure for inside throat affections (to be applied by means of a feather), and the best disinfectant and preventive of contagion in scarlet or typhoid fever—more reliable than quinine in eases of intermittent fever.
