TTNDER the distinguished patronage of \J His-Majesty the King of Italy, at Rome, according to communication received from the Consul-General for Italy, at Melbourne, upon instructions from the Minister for Foreign Affairs, dated 14th March, 1878. Dr Cruikßhank, Health Officer for the City of Sandhurst, the discoverer of the medical properties of the Extract of the' Eucalyptus Globulus, has pronounced the Extract to be the most reliable remedy for all external in flammition of whatever kind, inflammation of the chest, and lungs, all throat affections (broachitis, diphtheria), all pains of rheumatic ;nature, neuralgia, &c, all swellings, bruises* sprains, wounds of all kinds, and of moat serious nature, all disorders of the boweJa, diarrhoea, &c. . The Extract is proved as the surest cure for inside throat affections (to be applied by means of a feather), and the best disinfectuot and preventive of contagion in scarlet or typhoid fever—more reliable than quinine in cases of intermittent fever. The genuine article is made up in vials, beariDg on the labels our trademark and signature. Other preparations of the gum (turpentine) are most dangerous in consequence of their nature, for most of the diseases our Extract is recommended for, therefore ask for Sander and Sons' Extract in vials with our label, trademark and signature thereon. Every vial is accompanied by directions for nae, and reports of cures.
