TTNDER the distinguished patronage of \J His-Majesty the King of Italy, at Rome, according to communication received from the Consul-General for Italy, at Melbourne, upon instructions from the Minister for Foreign Affairs, dated 14th March, 1878. Dr Cruikßhank, Health Officer for the City of Sandhurst, the discoverer of the medical properties of the Extract of the' Eucalyptus Globulus, has pronounced the Extract to be the most reliable remedy for all external in flammition of whatever kind, inflammation of the chest, and lungs, all throat affections (broachitis, diphtheria), all pains of rheumatic ;nature, neuralgia, &c, all swellings, bruises* sprains, wounds of all kinds, and of moat serious nature, all disorders of the boweJa, diarrhoea, &c. . The Extract is proved as the surest cure for inside throat affections (to be applied by means of a feather), and the best disinfectuot and preventive of contagion in scarlet or typhoid fever—more reliable than quinine in cases of intermittent fever.
