; The adjourned quarterly and annual licensing meeting for the districts of Thames and Hauraki was held at the Court houce, Grahamstown, to - day. Present—W. Fraser, Esq., li.M. (Chairman), and W. Souter, and J. Brown, Esqs., Commissioners.

NJBW LICENSE FOB NEW HOUSE.
Samuel Stephenson, Marine and Family Hotel, Tararu road.
Mr Macdonald for applicant. The police report stated that the house was in course of completion, but it would take some time before it was fit for public accommodation.
. The application was granted on Mr Stephenson guaranteeing to have the house,finished by the first ultimo.
NEW APPLICATION FOB OLD HOUSE
James Clark, junr., Old Commodore. Mr Macdonald for applicant. The police reported thft the house had now the requisite accommodation. App'icatf on granted.
APPLICATIONS FOB UEK2WALS.
James Clark, City of Glasgow Hotel, Tiuaiu road. .
The police report stated that a great improvement had been made in the house since the adjournment, and the objection was now withdrawn.
Application granted. John McUonnell, Excelsior Hotel, Pollen street. .
Mr Brassey for applicant. The police report stated that the house had undergone considerable repairs,"and was now clean and in good condition. Application granted. District of Haubaki. '.'.. new applications fob old houses. Michnel Driscoll, Grand Junction Hotel, Moanaiairi Creek. Mr Macdonald for applicant. The police had withdrawn their objection, as a letter had been received from Eurenfried .Bros., owners of the house, guaranteeing, that the house would be conducted well. The application. was granted, and the bench agreed to recommend the fixing of" the license fee j&t £20. F. Tetley, Miner's Eest "Setel, Hape road. The police report stated that as farther accommodation had been added, the objection was withdrawn. Application granted. APPLICATION FOE EENEWAL.
Frederick Eodewall, Hap* Hotel, Hape Road.
The police report stated that the applicant was leaving the house, but he promised that (he incoming tenant would furnish the house and make some improvements.
Application granted.
