; The adjourned quarterly and annual licensing meeting for the districts of Thames and Hauraki was held at the Court houce, Grahamstown, to - day. Present—W. Fraser, Esq., li.M. (Chairman), and W. Souter, and J. Brown, Esqs., Commissioners.

Mr Macdonald for applicant. The police report stated that the house was in course of completion, but it would take some time before it was fit for public accommodation.

The application. was granted, and the bench agreed to recommend the fixing of" the license fee j&t £20. F. Tetley, Miner's Eest "Setel, Hape road. The police report stated that as farther accommodation had been added, the objection was withdrawn. Application granted. APPLICATION FOE EENEWAL.

Frederick Eodewall, Hap* Hotel, Hape Road.

The police report stated that the applicant was leaving the house, but he promised that (he incoming tenant would furnish the house and make some improvements.
