The Arrow y. Harding libel case was commenced this afternoon, and will last until lat3 to-night. The plaintiff is the Returning Officer for the Waipukurau County, and the defendant the well-known runholder at Mount Vernon. He wrote to the Council that tha plaintiff Arrow had divulged how he (defendant) had voted in an election for the Waipukurau Riding when the Hon. H. R. Russell and Mr Sydney Johnston were candidates.
