AUCKLAND.
This day. At a meeting of the Board of Governors of the Auckland Grammar School, it was resolved to proclaim a fortnight's holiday, and in the meantime to provide another building instead of the building in Albert Park. Mr McEae last night, without the authority of the Board, ejected the bailiffs, but:#this - morning Mr Brett, as one of ' the Board of Governors, finding the boys assembled outside the school after the ordinary school hour, and learning from Mr McEae that the school would not proceed, ordered the doors to be broken open. Six bailiffs of the Improvement Commissioners are now in possession. Mr A. Cox, at the meeting with his Wai pa constituents at Hamilton 'ast night, announced tjiat; he had sent Lis resignation to the Speaker in consequence of ill health. A vote, reerettimr the cause of his resignation, and thanks for his services, was passed with one dissentient.
