NAPIER.
Wednesday. The Supreme Court sitting opened this morning, before Mr Justice Richmond. There were eleven cases for trial, in which twelve, prisoners were implicated. True bills were found in all. Wiremu Te Hau, horse stealing, pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to six months. Charles Burton, larcpny of a gold watch, pleaded guilty, and remanded for sentence. Robert Cecil Carr, charged with indecent assault on a married woman; trial proceeding.
