The San Francisco papers contain an account of a glove fight wjrich took place in that city recently between "Harry Maynard," from New Zealand, and a 'Frisco' bruiser, in which the former was victorious. Harry Maynard is described as a " song and dance man," and we are informed that he is none other than the great comique formerly known on the Thames as " Cabbage Billy." It may be interesting to note, as illustrative of the manners and customs of the 'Fris* cans, that the fight took place in the base* ment of the Young Men's Christian Association Hall.
