(To the Editor of the Evening Star.)

Sib, —'In the interests of justice to the Auckland Presbytery, the session of St. James', Thames, and Mr and Mrs Unthank, I beg to state that the message of the Press Agency regarding Mr TJnthank, which appeared in one or both of the Thames papers lest week, had no foundation in any decision of the Presbytery, end I cannot imagine how such a mistake could have arisen.

(Signed) S. J. Neiil, Moderator of the Auckland Presbytery. The Mans 3, June 10th, 1878.
