POWIS CASTLE.

Meddins Bros, have finished a crushing for the yield of 7ozs 3dwts gold.

PRINCE IMPERIAL.

The crushing for this mine at the Prince Alfred mill is shaping very fairly. There will ba about fifty loads put through—a considerable proportion of whicli has been derived from the Mariner's reef. At the mine little worthy of notice has happened lately. The winze on the Mariner's reef-is down 20 ,feet, and is now going through rather hard ground. The reef maintains its average size, and gold is seen in the stone almost every breaking down. The two winzes on the No. 2 are down about 50 feet each, and good progress is made. The 'stuff now coding from this lode appears to be about the same quality of dirt that has composed the last few crushing. ~
