NEW NORTH DEVON.

The crashing of 50 or .60 tons for the above mine at the Moanatairi battery was commenced early this morning, and at the time of my visit to the battery this morn-; ing there was a pretty good show for the length of time the crushing was running. The 70 or SOlbs bf specimens and picked stone will be included in this parcel. [Since the above was written I learn that at least the crashing is going for an ounce and a half per ton, it having greatly improved since this morning.]
