Sale of Mining Property.
The Central Italy G.M.Co's ground was sold by auction to-day by Mr James Craig at the Exchange. There was a good attendance of buyers, and the bidding rose rapidly from £50 to £155, when it was knocked down to Mr John Wilson, who purchased it, we believe, on behalf of the Nonpareil United G.M.Co. Mr James, for the Caledonian, was amongst the bidders. Apa cccl of tools was sold to
Mr Jas. Garvoy for £512s 6d. The Central Italy comprises seven men's ground, and is bounded by the Caledonian, Nonpareil United, Old Golden Calf and Red Queen companies. Its purchase by the Nonpareil United should greatly enhance the value of the stock in the latter, as they now have the means of extending lowlevels to take but the auriferous blocks beneath the Central adit level.
