This day. The Hinemoa arrived in the Manukau this morning with Mr Sheehan.

Mr McGee has served a writ on the Auckland Racing Club for libel. He claims five hundred pounds, " In that he has been greatly injured in his name, good fame and credit, 1' by proceedings of the Auckland Racing Club; also, £2000 for depreciation of stock, and loss ©f earnings. The case will probably be tried at the Civil Sittings in July. Messrs Whitaker and Russell have accepted service on behalf of the defendants.
