Eobt. Easter was charged with stealing 19s 3d on Saturday night, the property of John Noble, and also with maliciouslyinjuring Constable Scott's coat to the extent of 20s. , -..'■.■■
Defendant pleaded not guilty. Mr Bullen said that as several witnesses who had promised to attend had not turned up, he would ask for a remand till to-morrow, and have the witnesses subpoenaed. Remand granted. ..,
DBUKKENNESS. One. individual forfeited his bail for drunkenness. ;
