OHINEMURI.

Paeboa, This day.
On Tuesday evening the p.s. Tongariro, skilfully managed by Captain "E. Moore, ably assisted by Messrs Bettis and Everitt, made the Paeroa Wharf, having on board the directors and owners, with Mr R. Onyon, shipping agent. The vessel is 115 feet long. She is the longest steamer we have had at Paeroa. Her appearance and fittings were very much admired. She purposes making regular fortnightly trips, and we wish her success, as she is certainly a credit tb the waters of Olrnemuri. Yesterday Mr Inspector Thompson and Mr Eullen arrived here to make their report re site for public buildings. They have examined very carefully the district, and have been furnished with all data necessary, and I believe their desire is to recommend the best position without taking private interests into consideration. ■
