This was a plaint laid against the defendants, shareholders of the Band of Hope cla^m, Moanatairi, for failing to bona fide and continuously work the same; wherefore the complainant applied for an order U> take possession. William Mears, swoi j, deposed—l am a miner and holder of a miner's right. I k iow the Band of Hope ela 4m, Moonatairi. It ha 3 not been worked forfour or five months. I wish to get possession.P. J. Burgess, Clerk to Mining Registrar, sworn, depos '1 — I produce the register of the Band of Hope claim. Long and Jonathan ai3 the registered owne s. The claim ;s 4 men's ground. The claim wps declared forfeited, and an order given to complainant to take possession.
