This' mine w,as visited today. The drive on the leader from the AlbUinia is making good progress, though the quartz is rather split up. This leader is being followed with the exnectution of its functioning with the loae formerly worked by the Alburnia—probably the old No. 2 lode. The worki igs of that reef are all blocked up now, so that it is impossible to say how much driving wj.ll be required to cut thereof. Acrossputts' also beinjj; put in to pick up, one of the Old Wha i leaders. It has cut througu several stringers of quartz, and is in good ground. No gold was visible in any of the workings.
