In the New Zealand Gazette of May 1 16 appears a notification of the payment of money on and entry into the negotialicis for the purchase cf Native lands in the North Island, referring particularly to lands in the Thames District. The' Ir. ads . are particularly described in the Gazette, in accordance with the provisions of " The Government Native Land Ptr
