Saturday.

The ship Electra arrived here last night, after a 130 days' passage from London. She encountered terrific gales on leaving the English Channel, and lost a spare anchor and sails. While crossing the Southern Ocean ,she met a terrific gale from S.W. to N.W. The sea b: oke on board, filling the desks a-d stoving in the bulwarks, and doing other damage. Several sails were blotfn away. She brings eight passengers and 800 tons of cargo.
