After the contractors have driven 45 feet inside the Company's boundary, the lode has made, it being a nice-looking reef two feet thick, and from its appearance, looks as it would continue. Shooting 1 down took place today, and 201 bs of specimens w<*re obtained, The managing director, Mr Mcllhaney, has telegraphed to the company's office as follows :—•" Shot down reef. 20lbs specimens and picked dirt. Beef two feet thick.
WEST COAST. Howarth axid party's crashing realised 20z9 19dwls gold. BLUE JACKET.
A crashing from the above claim yielded 1 ounce of gold. UNA. : '
Robinson and party have completed crushing for the yield of 50z3 6dwts gold. HOPEFUL. Webb and party, tributers, finished a crushing to«day for the yield pf 2f ounces of gold. STAR OF TE PAPA.
A crushing from the above claim has produced 6ozs 15dwts. CREEK WASHING.
A parcel of gold amounting to 2ozs «, 3dwts, was lodged in the Bank of NewZealand yesterday, as creek washings.
