Thames Scottish Prize Fixing.

This company fired for prizes on Satur-f day in two squads, the first at 8 a.m., and the second at 2 pm. A strong gusty wind prevailed throughout the day, the afternoon squad having heavy rain as well to contend with at 500 yards. The rain washed the targets completely, rendering nothing risible through the mist end rain but a dirty brown patch, a colour which would no doubt have gladdened the heart of Mr Soall of Auckland, the dark target enthusiast, but certainly not appreciated by, the Scottish competitors. Some excellent shooting was, ho? ever, made, as the annexed list of prize winners' scores will show.
