RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT
- THIS DAY. (Before Ji Xilgour and A. J. Allom, . Esqs., J's.P.) WHEEITN& i. BABHOW ON THK FOOTPATH. John Horan" was charged with unlawfully wheeling a barrow on the fcotpath of Wi Hough by street on the 6th inst. Defendant admitted the offence, but said he had a permit from the Borough Council to do so. Mr Bullen said he had seen the permit referred' to, which was dated a month back, and only gave the defendant permission to wheel the barrow across the footpath in Pollen street, and not along the side walks of Pollen and Willoughby streets, as the defendant had. done. Fined Is and costs. TJNCOILAEED DOG. John Kelly was charged with" unlawfully permitting an uncollared dog to wander at large in Moanatairi Creek on the 3rd inst. Fined 2s Gd and costs. Court adjourned.
