The shareholders of thit claim, which adjoins the City of Manchester, are breaking out payable quartz, which, however, they are not yet able to crush. The lode worked is the same that the City people have been working profitably for the pasfr two years, and when the new road is completed and a means provided by which the stuff can be got down, the claim will pay very well.
