CROWN PRINCESS.
Kendall and party, tributers, hare had a rare stroke of luck. For^ some time' • past they hare been working vta) the s. specimen leader where it abuts ou the-. - slide, and are rising on it. ~ They hare been making first-rate wages by taking out small parcels of specimens on the ledges of the slide. Last night they, took out a parcel amounting to 2801bs of some of the finest specimens I hare seen. Some of the pieces must hare been worth 3ozs per lb, and the remainder is all first- ' class stuff. A former party worked this same sec Lion for some months without any success. The lucky tributers were crushing their haul at Bull's mill to-day. Davidson and party hare secured 25!bs of rich stone. The directors hare resolred to sink the shaft, and tenderi will shortly be called for that'work.
