OAMARU.

: Tuesday. Messrs Hislop and Shrimski addressed their Waitaki constituents last night. Mr Hislop said he opposed Major Atkinson's Ministry because they were incompetent to govern the country. He believed the important questions of the colony would be more fairly and better dealt with by the present Ministry. Mr Shrimski agreed in the main with his colleague's remarks. Both received unanimous votes of confidence and approval of their support to the Grey Ministry.
