The cross-cut towards the Vanguard section is still in hard country, and since my last report no leaders have been cut, though the cross lode may be expected shortly now. The ground is not unfavorable for gold. The tributert~eJjg£inue to i work away with fair success, i and party are crushing 12 toads, and Schofield a similar parcel, just now.
