OUR MINES.
ALBUENIA.
The manager intends to crush the specimens and picked stone in hand, which amounts to about 7 or 8 cwt, at the end of this week, so that with the general stuff there should he another dividend as the result of the month's operations. At the mine, the manager is making preparations to connect the Dixon's low level with the Whau level by means of the No. 3 winze. Nothing of importance has lately transpired in aonnection with the winze levels, which look about the same. The reef in west drive, Whau level, continues to look well, and is showing colors of gold. It is now about 2| feefc thick. In the Battery level there is no change to mention in the rise. No gold is to be seen. here. Good progress is being made in Dixon's and the Sons of Freedom tunnels.
