NEW MORNING STAR.

I am informed that some nice golden stones have recently been obtained from the two small lodes worked from the surface at the rear of the company's shaft. These leaders outerup on the surface and are similar in character to those in the viciuity which in tbe early days were worked very profitably; they are each four or five inches thick, and run parallel at a distance of about six feet from each other. Between them there are several small stringers, and it is considered probable that in more solid country they will amalgamate.
