WARDEN'S COURT.
THIS DAY. (Before W. Fraser, Esq., Warden.) , MCILHOKE V. ADAHBON. This was a plaint brought by the Inspector of Miners' Bights against the defendant for cutting timber without a license.
Mr Mcllhono asked to withdraw the charge, as the timber has been cut under a misunderstanding. The trees cut down had been paid for. His Worship permitted the withdrawal of the charge. GOLDSMITH T. GOLDEM ABBOW. In the two cases brought by the Mining Inspector against the Golden Arrow, His Worship gate judgment. In the case of the machine site No. 7, an order was made that the site be forfeited, and the Inspector be given possession; and that the same be dealt with in tho manner prescribed by sections 101 to 111 of the Goldmining Districts Act, 1873, the defendant to pay tho costs, which were fixed at £7 2s. In the second caie re machine
site No. 11 a similar order was made, the defendants to pay the costs, amounting to £3 169.
