This day.

A fire broke out at Monaghan's boot and shoe establishment shortly after twelve this morning. An alarm was given almost instantly, but before anything -could be done the building was destroyed. Goodaye's office adjoining was also destroyed. Monaghan is a heavy sufferer. Ho "had the place fully stocked, and was only partly insured. He estimates his loss at £250 above the insurance. Goodaye's losses are also heavy, he not having a penny of insurance on his property.
