John Bobeht Fbbby for a license to con* struct a Water Bace for mining purposes at Karaka, commencing at a point on the Xaraka Creek about 600 yards above the Planet Battery, and terminating at a point about 20 yards below the TFna Battery. The length of such Bace is six hundred and twenty yards or thereabouts, and its intended counc is along the bank of the Creek. The mean breadth and depth of such Bace is two feet by two feet; it is capable of carrying three eluice-heads of water, and the number of sluice-heads of forty inches each which it is proposed to appropriate is three. NOTICE is therefore given that on the sixteenth day of April, 1878, a License will begrarted to the above-named John Bobert Perry fo»; tbe said Wabr Bsce, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing, and lodged at this office not lets than seven dear days before that date.
