PRINCE IMPERIAL.
A crashing of 60 loads of quartz is How undergoing process of treatment at the Prince Alfred battery, but up to the present it is not shaping for more than an ounce per ton. At the mine there in not much new to notice. The kindly country in the face of west drive continues, but there is still no sign of the lode. It is to be hoped that it has not gone for good. I hear that it is likely that shortly a cross-cut will be started to intersect the
Mariner's Keef lode, which yielded so payably in the surface works. Driving east and sloping continues without change to mention. ■••
