In the Legislative Council, the letter of the Governor acknowledging the Council's address to the Queen was read, and the Council adjourned to Tuesday.
Iv the Assembly, the debate on the address to the Governor acknowledging his impartial constitutional action during the crisis is proceeding.
The railway conference met, and adjourned, line die, without agreeing tb the route from Oakley to Melbourne.
