A Gazette published to-day notifies the appointment of Doctors Philson and Goldsboro' as Justices of the Peace.
In the Supreme Court, J. Biordan was acquitted of larceny; John Simmonds, for forgery, was found guilty, but a point was reserved for the Court* of Appeal. Amos James Tudball, for forgery, re. ceired four years' penal servitude. The following sentences were passed:—Bober* McFarlahe, for forgery, six months' hard labour; Henry Bichardson, for forgery, nine months' hard labour ; James Mills, forgery, eighteen months' hard labour; Charles Smith, larceny, six months' hard labour; Charles McGunhdigan, indecent assault, two years' hard labour; George Stevens, larceny, twelve months' hard labour; William Phillips, larceny, twelve months' hard labour.
