Messrs Watt Brothers' steamer Victoria foundered at her moorings in the rirer. Endeavours were make to-day to raise her by Noble and Walker, but they were unsuccessful. . . ,
Pohipi, one of the leading natives, has returned to life here after an absence of twelve, months. He was received with welcome by Europeans and natives.:
