An approximateresult of the census for Invercargill and suburbs is a total population of 5,725. ; Sir John Coode, accompanied by Mr Blackett (Marine Engineer)i and Captain Thomson (Harbour master at the Bluff); starts for Riverton to-day to inspect the harbour. They will retura tomorrow, and will inspect the new rirer harbour on Thursday.
