Men are employed cleaning out a drive in the Crown level for ventilation purposes. The No. 2 reef has been reached, bat no quartz has yet been broken down, so I can't say how it looks. Gilmour's leader where worked by the company continues to show a payable amount of gold. The manager expects to be able to crush next week, when- a large parcel of quarts will be put through. None of the tribute parties are crushing at present, but Scott Hunter and party will be treat-
ing a parcel from their quartz stringer shortly. ——
