Cornelius Brien was charged with this offence in Owen street this .morning. Defendant pleaded not guilty: lie wai as sober as His Worship was now. Constable Baldwin deposed that the defendant was drank in Owen street. He arrested him.

Constable Hogan deposed that be was ia charge of the lofek-up last night, and the defendant was given into his custody by Constable Baldwin. It took the two of them to hold him up when he came in. Fined 10s, and costs. A TVANDJBBING HOBBE.

John Caldicufc was charged with allow* ing one horse to wander at large in Sealey street, Thames, on the 28th inst. Defendant admitted the offence, and was fined 2s 6d and costs. CHIMNEY OH FIBEi William Seager was charged with ua-
