HERALD AND PRINCE ALFRED BATTERIES.
These batteries were not workiug this morning, owing to the fact that there is not enough water to drive the whole three batteries worked by water from the County supply, io that they each take turn with the water, the Queen of Beauty mill using it up till 12 o'clock to-day, when the Prince Alfred was to
comm<nce work. The continued drought is the cause of this.
