Pasboa, This day.
We hare been honored bj visits made by Messrs Mcllhone, Brennan, and others. Of course everybody is on the gui vice to ascertain " what is up." It is rumored, that some prospecting prrliei are out at Te Aroha.
Captain Barningham, afler a short absence, has returned to h'» first love. It is to be hoped that he will no longer ha?e reason to complain of " casting nis Pearl before swine."
In my report of the dispute re Hurdle Bace the printer, by substituting the word "on" for "or," has made a considerable difference in my meaning. What I said was that the two members of committee acted " without consulting the programme or calling a meeting of the committee."
