OLD SIAM.

The shareholders have at last cut the large lode on the footwall side,, and a great deal of water is,issuing from it. The quartz has a very likely appearance, though no gold has been seen as yet. On the hanging wall of this lode is the Telegraph leader, which it is expected will be worked to advantage. There is along distance to drive to the Siam shaft yet, though the water should be cut very shortly, and the shaft drained. The shareholders entertain high; hopes respecting the success of this very promising claim. ■ ■ "■ ■;■■■'■ •:"";i "" l!'Ji l>!
