Mir Bradshaw reports sales of Bank of New Zealand at £24; Colonial Bank, £2 11s ; National Bank, £3 15s; National Insurance, £1 13s; Union lusurance, 15s; New Zealand Insurance, £4 17s 6d; Standard, £1 3s; Gathrie and Larnach's timber factories, £2 7s 6d to £2 10s ; Greymouth Coal, £2 6s. Professor Ulricli, of Melbourne, has accepted the office of Professor of Mineralogy and Metallurgy in connection with the School of Mines.
