This day

Father Henneberry, since his arrival at the West Coast, has denounced marriages between Catholics and Protestants as adultery, the result being the separation of families and much domestic misery. Me was strongly criticised by the Kumara Times, and retorted by a personal attack on the editor, who has commenced an action for damages, laying his damages at £1000.
