The shareholders continue driving alongside of the lode, and notwithstanding that the ground is pretty tight fair progress is being made. Once or twice during the past week a little quartz has been broken down, and gold has been seen, which is very encouraging. Before a parcel of any consequence is broken out, however, it is intended to connect with the shaft.
