I was laid up for several months with rheumatic gout, and confined to my bed for weeks j in fact, even when in bed I could not more without assistance. My friends had almost given up all hope; of recovery, and I was told that if I ever got better I should be paralysed in my right side. I waa under treatment for weeks, and tried all known remedies, but got little or no relief.
