OAMARU.
This day. Sir Geo. Grey was warmly welcomed here. He addressed the largest public meeting ever held here. He spoke for two hours, advocating a change in the incidence of taxation, manhood suffrage and a land tax. A unanimous vote of confidence in Sir George Grey's policy and Government was carried at close.
