REPLY TO " A SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER."

(To the Editor of the BTcning Star.) Sib,—ln this evening's issue "A Sunday School Teacher," a lady I hope, accuses the repudiating one or two male teachers of Deing " unvaloroiw and en« reasonable in their repudiation." I may tell him or her that I never thought any such thing, for I, with my other lady teachers, never-imagined for a moment but that tbe "resenting" letter might bo pc ued by a lady teacher. And it is so

silly of the " repudiators " to think themselves the ouly people capable of writing a letter, and, by the way, to forget that there were not many other " first-class teachers " but themselves. For, I may tell you, that every gentleman resents an insult, and so does every lady also. And more, I say that the dispute should be left between the first writer and the rev. gentleman who thought fit to give the insult to "many teachers," as he said. I must t-jli the " Sunday school teachers" and the "repudiating heroes" that they are not to exclude from the range of their calculation or remarks many lady teachers who might write a letter on an honorable occasion, and who.have not cowardice enough to show their valour by disclaiming the honor of resenting a public insult. By inserting the above I shall be obliged to you.—l am, Sec, A Ladt First-class Tcachsb. Thames, March 12, 1878. P.B. —Arc all the "valiant" heroes married men? I hope they are, for the credit of the species. Excuse.
