Royal Italian Opora Concert Company.
The second concert by tbis company was giren in the Academy of Music last night to a bette? audience .than that which greeted the company on their first appearance, and the programme wai per* haps more attractive than that produced on Saturday night. The audience was appreciative, and the members of the com* pany were evidently bent on maintaining the good impression they had created, for they acceded in several instances lo encores when compliance was a lax on the powers of the executants. The performances of the company have been so satisfactory that a general feeling of regret has been expressed at the untoward circumstances which prevented a visit from the full company, and a nroduction of some of the charming produc* tions from their extensive repertoire of operatic gems. Amongst the items produced last night may be noticed particularly the duetto from "Crispino c la Comare," by Siguora Vita and Signor Tessada, the serenade from "Don Pasquale 1' by Signor Camera, and the fine violin solos by Mocaieur Caron. The other items on the programme, were meritoriously rendered, but they were not so strikingly appreciated as those named. The third act of "Faust" was wall rendered, the incidents of the celebrated garden scene, with the vccrlisation, being sustained by Signers Tessada. (Mepbiatopheles), Signor Paladini (Faust), Sighora Venosla (Siebel and ftfarta), and Signora Vila (Margherita). Encores were nusiciv oi?s, and bouquets weru showered upon the artistes on severe! occasions. The company will not, we tiast, have lessen to regret their brief season at ths Thames.
