POWIS CASTLE.
Meddins' Bros, continue to work this, claim though the lode is hardly so rich in qurlity as foi Jierly. The country is hard, which gires the leader a pinched up appearance, but a change in the country might be expected, to improre it anytime. The new.ro-d will enable them to get down quartz of a grade lower than would pay formerly. I may mention that lately some persons hare been remoring the timber from the long tunnel connecting the Moanatairi with the Shellback, and if not soon roplaic6d^iU_dogw»t damage to the tuinel, which is theceffißJonjproperty of the sereral mines through wMskJt^ runs. Should at any time the shareholders of the Fowis Castle desire to work a low lerel this tunnel will prore useful. Where is the Mining Inspector ?
